Before I started my career in real estate, I was a bank manager, and after resigning from the Bank, I worked as a property manager at a commercial firm in Washington DC for over 20 years.
The work experience I acquired during my tenure at both companies gave me the knowledge and expertise to start my own property management company and shortly after acquiring my real estate license in 2001 to serve families in DC and MD.
Becoming a real estate agent was my best career move because I get to work with families from all walks of life and specifically helping families who have inherited properties or going through the probate process.
I did not know how unprepared the average family was when they had to deal with the process of handling the estate of a loved one who has passed until I had to handle my own parents’ estate.
It was very emotional for everyone involved.
After that, I’ve handled multiple families who have inherited property and the things they all had in common was not having the professional help they needed and the emotional breakdown.
This the main reason I chose to help families going through the probate process.
I have a team of professional to help my clients in every aspect of real estate.
One of the first things a family must deal with is insurance on the property of the deceased.
Most people don’t even realize that insurance is canceled on the property once the person is deceased.
Maintenance and upkeep of the property is another concern because a vacant property can attract unwanted guests and the property must be taken care of in order to get the highest price when it is sold.
Final note, you can pay someone for almost anything, but you can’t pay someone to care about you and your family and protect you in all areas of the probate process.
Let me and my team help you during one of the most difficult times of your life.
Everyone needs time to deal with the passing of a loved one. When it’s time to liquidate the real estate in the estate, you need to take the appropriate steps to learn the market, educate yourself and find an empathetic REALTOR® that can save you time, money and headaches during the transaction. My team is ready to help in every phase of the transaction and get the terms you and your family want and need.

Over the course of a lifetime, people accumulate a wide variety of possessions, objects, and belongings that reflect their lives. Disposing of these possessions in a dignified, yet efficient manner is often an obstacle in bringing the estate to a final settlement. If that’s the case, our team
can help coordinate a successful estate sale or refer you
to reliable appraisers and other professionals that will sell the belongings for top dollar.
You should also be aware that the estate can realize significant tax advantages by donating any unclaimed assets and possessions to charity, and we maintain strong personal relationships with numerous charities that would welcome these donations with open arms.
